As Jesus entered Jerusalem his disciples were proclaiming his reign as the Messiah King. They still didn’t get he would be a different kind of king, one of humility and peace. As Christians, we live two realities at all times. Even though we anticipate the day when Christ will reign and his Kingdom is fully revealed, we must live as he did as reflected in his entrance into Jerusalem. To proclaim him now is to serve others in humility giving evidence to his work in our lives. In summary -The only way people will believe Jesus lives is if his people live today as he did.
