It’s always tempting to skip things that are extra difficult, or honestly we just don’t want to do them. But those might actually be the most transformative things we can do. Mercy is one of those things. Mercy not only transforms us but has the power to change the people around us. If we skip it we are withholding from others the most basic way Jesus treated us, even when we did not deserve it.
